The Saluki Club of Canada’s Third Pacific Saluki Specialty will be held Saturday, July 16, 2011 at beautiful Peace Arch Park, just south of Vancouver on the Canada/ Us border.
Our show is part of the Sighthound Extravaganza meaning there are three sets of points for Salukis.
We look forward to welcoming you and your hounds to our show. Our judges this year are Mr. Alan Ewles, Regular Classes, and Mr. Gary Parks, Sweepstakes.
We will be pleased to include your ad in our catalogue – the deadline is July 1st, but ads can be emailed to osusanna@lightspeed.ca at anytime until then – the sooner the better!
Once again the Saluki Club will be providing lunch, our main fundraiser. There are no other food services on site, so you may want to consider pre-ordering at $8 per person. This year we are featuring deli-style hotdogs, sandwiches and salads. Details are available in the Premium List.
Our committee will continue the tradition we began two years ago of raffling a Wine Basket. Each of us contributes a bottle of wine of our choice plus some condiments arranged in an attractive basket and we draw for the winner at the show site. You can purchase tickets by contacting any of our committee members prior to the show or from any of us at the show. Tickets are $2 each or $20 for 12. We are Susan Mitchell, Georgie Paone, Marcel Nussbaumer, Margaret Coe and Don Mitchell.
